THIS IS JUST TOO AMAZING!
I have been taking my pups to Safari for a long time. I had taken them once to another so called reputable place in Murfreesboro and well that was it for me. You talk about appalling, I felt guilty for weeks after that experience. Well, let me tell you one thing. I certainly DO NOT feel that way when I take them to the best boarding facility in the state of TN. Actually, I can't believe my pups, when I pick them up from day camp. they don't even come to me first. They go to one of the receptionist and sit and wait on their ice cream treat. It certainly looks kinda bad for Mom to be dragging my dogs out the door. Let me tell you, their staff is so precious. They know your pet by name as well as the Mom or Dad, and they are always so nice! I have never seen any one of them without a smile on their face and so happy to see your pet. And to the review person that gave them the 1 star just because they opened at 6 or whatever, that's just it......THEY OPEN AT 6.....NOT 5:45, NOT 5:50. It's a business for crying out loud. I'm just SO SURE that all the other merchants you frequent open 10 minutes early just for you. You have no idea what they have to do before they open, and until you you should keep your mouth shut. Did you know you can go and tour the facility at any time that they are open? What does that tell ya! I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience when you left your Aussie cattle dog there. Maybe the dog is just getting bad vibes from it's parents. I have had to wait on Sunday evenings just as everyone else. But ya know what? I truly enjoy talking with the other pet lovers that are waiting as well. No telling how many folks these guys talk to a day about boarding and grooming. You would think they would tired of it, but no, the enthusiasm is always there. They take such pride in their work. Did you know that there receptionists have been there for years? Do they ever act like they are tired of it? NO! So go somewhere else, they don't need people like you.

From the Owners of Safari Pet Resort by Susan C. at InsiderPages
We would like to take a moment to thank all of our current, past and future clients for trusting Safari Pet Resort, Inc. to care for your pets over the past thirty years and those ahead. Being in business for this length of time, we feel very blessed to have earned the respect of you and thank you for voting us the Peoples' Choice Ruthie Award winner for all four years since the Favorite Boarding Kennel Category was established. We feel our clientele is quite above average; after all, rarely do we meet unkind Pet Lovers! We do feel it is unfortunate, however, to occasionally encounter false of unsubstantiated statements on some local postings. We welcome any customers' suggestions or concerns when offered in a professional manner, and have always made it our top priority to follow through with our pledge for doing our utmost to keep your pets safe and healthy,as well as pampered, when you cannot. Please feel free always to contact our office at 615-890-3732 or our email at susan@safaripetresort.com with any questions or concerns you may have. To all our four-legged and two-legged friends, we look forward to seeing you on Safari! Richard and Susan Cleveland, owners

BEST GROOMING AND DAYCAMP, I wish I could stay there myself!
I have been taking my dog to Safari for two years now. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the owners and staff are so interested in my dog--they are so excited to greet him when he comes in for daycamp or a groom and they even remember his name. They are so open and friendly, you can even sign up to view your dog's playtime on a webcam, and I've used this service many times--you know a company is true to its word when you can watch them on video anytime you want. I highly recommend Safari Pet Resort to both dog and cat lovers, they really love animals and it's apparent in everything they do. Safari came so highly recommended to me, and now I know why. I will always recommend Safari as the highest quality grooming and boarding facilty. Thanks, Safari staff--keep up the good work!

My scotties love Safari!
We have been taking our scotties to Safari for the past 2 years and have been so happy. My boys can be alittle head strong at times, but the staff there is so patient. Since they are a little more on the aggressive side, they cannot go to daycamp since they might start a rugus there, but the staff is so kind to do seperate TLC time with just them when they stay overnight. They did try them in Daycamp at first, but were honest with me that in the daycamp environment with other dogs, mine were being a little too aggressive. I do appreciate their honesty and the TLC gives them "special time" together. I love the resort feel and appreciate that the staff goes all out to ensure that each customer's needs are met. I will never go anywhere else.

No longer a Safari fan
Our 2 mini schnauzers have gone to Safari since we got them, almost 6 years ago. At first, we (and the dogs) loved it - great, friendly service and good grooming. The dogs seemed to enjoy the day camp. However, over the past couple of years, the prices have skyrocketed (they've tripled), and our level of satisfaction has gone down. The webcam was an eye opener as far as day camp - the time we watched, one dog stood in the corner the entire time, while the other wandered around aimlessly with the other dogs. So much for "having a great time with our pals playing and chasing the toys" that was always on their report cards. The past several groomings, there have been problems with clipper burn, the last one so severe with one of the dogs that we had to make a visit to the emergency vet on Friday night for antiseptic, antibiotic salve and a shot. The poor guy's posterior was scraped raw, and he was in so much pain he couldn't stand up. He just sat in the floor and whimpered. No excuse for a groomer being that careless with an animal. We've recommended Safari to many, many friends in the past, but no longer. This is not the place to take your pet if you care about their well being.
